About

Every so often, a dream makes its way into your mind, takes root in your heart, and won’t let you give it up until it sees the light of day.

This is how Hair & Yonder came to life. I envisioned a space where a bride could have her hair dressed on her wedding day surrounded by her best friends and closest family. I could hear the sound of their laughter and stories being shared. I could feel the warmth of sacred moments becoming memories that would last forever. Oh, and I could see it clear as day – it had to be an Airstream.

The idea, of course, was the easy part. Bringing Hair & Yonder to life began with hours upon hours of sifting through Airstream listings online with my dad. We came across a listing for an Airstream for sale in Charlotte, NC, and had a gut feeling that it was the one. Within a few hours, we called the owner and agreed to buy it over the phone, sight-unseen. The next thing we knew, she was hitched up in the rearview mirror and headed home with us to Nashville.

It would be nice to say that the rest is history, but that would overlook the months of renovations, mechanical upgrades, and prep work that wouldn’t have been possible without the help of my family, friends, and husband Josh. A project like this takes a village, and I’m grateful for the people in my life that were willing to help me wield a wrench and secure a business license. I’ll never forget the moment that we attached a shiny new Tennessee license plate to the bumper. It was a ribbon cutting ceremony of sorts that signified a transition from the prologue to the first chapter of Hair & Yonder.

In the days since Hair & Yonder launched, my team and I have been taken aback by the the wedding day memories we’ve had the opportunity to host. I'm grateful for the journey that Hair & Yonder has taken me on, and I have no doubt – the best is yet to come.

We would love to make your wedding hairdo dreams happen in our airstream. Contact us today about your wedding dates and we'll get you all the information you need.
